To furnish the masseria, the owners have sourced southern Italian antiques to recreate the home of the Donnagnora (or Lady in Black). As she is the most memorable owner of the masseria, the owners have portraits of ‘the lady in black’ in several rooms of the house.

What used to be the stable inside the main gate has been transformed into a large suite with an ensuite bathroom. This room is on the ground floor has a private entrance from the garden and a sweet sitting area outside the door. It has unique architectural elements such as vaulted ceilings and troughs.

Due Santi
The name of the room (Two Saints) derives from the framed image and 2 statuettes of the saints Cosma and Damiano that were found in the church. Positioned next to the chapel, this room was probably a rest area for the priest. Today it is a charming double room with ensuite bathroom with a private entrance from the garden and a sweet sitting area outside the door.

This double room is affectionatly called the Zia room, because it was originally used by the owner's great aunt (la 'zia').
Today it is a charming double room with its own bathroom and an in-room shower under the vaulted ceiling.

The Spa
Masseria Donnagnora was built on top of an ancient cave that was used as a humble place of worship in the 16th century.
Today, this suggestive cave has been transformed to host a sauna and hot tub.
